Name: Zolf J. Kimblee
Series: Fullmetal Alchemist (mangaverse)
Age: 31 (a shot in the dark based on Mustang's canon age of 30)
Occupation (at Ravenshold): Patient
Personality: Kimblee is an intelligent psychopath, with some degree of explosive-related pyromania/pyrophilia. He comes across as slickly polite, but is also cold, calculating, manipulative, and sadistic. Kimblee espouses some Darwinian/dharmic beliefs, yet it seems horribly convenient that they legitimate his mania and/or core desire – to advance/strengthen his ability to wield the explosive/volatile, as well as practice this passion without restriction.
History: Nothing about his childhood shows up in any file, even though his psychopathology, and unique flavor of pyromania, undoubtedly existed back then. Military records with the United States Army Special Forces begin the paper trail. An explosives expert, Major Zolf Kimblee's last official deployment was to Afghanistan. Details are classified, and thus unavailable to a foreign civilian institution, but in April of 2002 (after Operation Anaconda) he was dismissed and promptly incarcerated, suggesting a court-martial conviction. Oddly, he received a full pardon in June of 2007, and disappeared from public records again. Independent sources place him in Iraq during that time, and loosely working within US interests, though in what capacity (CIA, paramilitary, etc.) is anyone's guess. Something likely happened between now and then to cause his delusions, yet whether due to trauma, or deliberate brainwashing before being disposed of as a pariah, is also unknown.
